Hi, my name is Danny Hahn, and I run NeoKitsch. What is NeoKitsch? It’s a music and film studio in London. It’s a team of specialists from all corners of the audio and visual industries. It’s a style, in which genre cocktail shaking, idiom cross dressing and epoch time traveling are explored to create the one of a kind music experience professionals deserve in this fast changing movie and broadcast industry. <br /><br />Scarcity breeds desire, and this is why my music has raised a few heads for the new breed of filmmaker, as the NeoKitsch unique style and otherworldly sounds can only be found here. I am one of the few figures integrating unusual, unheard of, vintage and unique instruments to film scoring, well known for using audio oddities such as the Continuum Fingerboard and the Etherwave Theremin. <br /><br />If you follow my activity on the web or decide to work on a film project with me, you’ll soon discover my philosophy and the value I bring to film music. As a screenplay writer and teacher, I combine the intricate principles of story with music composition, allowing even the most subtle sub-plot or subconscious object of desire to be dealt with in the most sensitive and engaging way. Diving back into the golden era of film music, NeoKitsch often uses instrumentation and leitmotiv in a traditional, Wagnerian way, while maintaining a contemporary style, be it mainstream or avant-garde. With talented musicians from all sorts of backgrounds, anything is possible, from Science Fiction Jazz, to Twelve Tone Blues, from Neo-Noir to Baroque Tango. <br /><br />I’ve performed my music live in prestigious festivals and concert halls such as the Royal Festival Hall, London, and I’ve also collaborated with the world's most famous musicians in new and experimental music, such as the Thereminist, Lydia Kavina.
