My work examines conceptual issues concerning human nature through the exploration of the tragic and political body on stage. I focus on the relation tensions between perception, space and subjectivity in the post-modern age. <br />They interest me in general the conflicts and the oppositions: Individual-social, individualization-collectivity, conscious-unconscious <br />In my choreographic research what interests me, is the destructuration of the dance movement as well as the relation between contemporary dance, visual arts and electroacoustic music. I use the body like an abstract surface and this abstraction to become a physical feeling. The movement is in the image and this movement is that vibrates the image. I seek the pure physicality of movement, a movement right in its form and also in the accuracy of its own expression related to a feeling. <br /><br />I like “to draw” bodies in space, to “draw” atmospheres, to create worlds which open up mental fields and spaces. Spaces which like the dancers place also themselves in a continuous movement. <br /><br />My pieces do not tell a story. It is just question of placing bodies, materials and objects in a space and for the audience to take the time of seeing them, to feel and to think. To give to the audience another point of view on the things. <br /><br />I focus on the audience’s esthetic experience and how this experience calls upon the subconscious.
