KA Records est un label français de reggae roots fondé en 2010. <br />Il enregistre ses propres riddims avec son Backing Band, The Soul Agitators. Il travaille ensuite avec de nombreux artistes et musiciens qui posent leur voix et leur instrument sur ces riddims. Pour chaque chanson, KA Records enregistre une version, soit dub, soit instrumentale, soit deejay, dans la plus pure tradition jamaïcaine. <br />Une première série de 3 vinyles 10 pouces est sortie, regroupant les différents artistes et musiciens du label. <br /><br />Le reggae roots du label KA Records est marqué par son côté conscious, spirituel et original. En effet, toute la production est réalisée par le label, depuis la création musicale jusqu’à la distribution, en passant par le mixage et l’enregistrement. Les riddims sont enregistrés par un vrai Backing Band qui garantit ce son roots , à l’image de Sound Dimension chez Studio One. <br />Enfin, c’est un reggae roots sans concessions, dans l’inspiration des années 1970, qui oscille entre Early Reggae, One Drop, Rockers ou Rub a Dub. <br /><br />KA Records is a French roots reggae label created in 2010. <br />The label makes all riddims with its backing band : The Soul Agitators.
