Sony’s E3 2013 game lineup uncovered, E3 confirms Grand Theft Auto V on PC, and The Last of Us Demo to remain exclusive to God of War, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW!
Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. Sony is set to take stage at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena June 10th at 6pm to uncover their plans for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and even the PlayStation Vita. With Sony keeping a plethora of announcements under wrap, Sony interestingly revealed their E3 games lineup on the official E3 website revealing an unannounced title by the name of Warrior’s Lair. With no information outside of the name provided, we now know one of the titles Sony has lined up for their anticipated press conference, alongside games such as DriveClub, inFAMOUS: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Until Dawn, and more. Just looking at the games already revealed has me excited, although I must say, when I saw Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler on the list, a bit of concern developed in hopes that Sony doesn’t infect their conference with such oddity.
Also originating from the official E3 website for 2013, Take-Two’s page features the highly anticipated September 17th release, Grand Theft Auto V. While Take-Two already said that Grand Theft Auto V won’t have much of a presence during E3, according to the E3 website, PC is listed as one of the platforms for the upcoming release. With Rockstar Games previously denying comment on a possible presence on PC, such news should come as relief to those in support of the PC gaming movement.
Wrapping up Nick’s Gaming View, with gamers who purchased God of War: Ascension now having the ability to dive into The Last of Us demo, those who haven’t picked up God of War have been left wondering whether or not Naughty Dog will release the demo on the PlayStation Store to open play up to a wider audience. Eric Monacelli, Community Strategist at Naughty Dog, commented on the curiosity by stating “the demo is only available for God of War Ascension disc owners. We have no plans to release it otherwise.” Sad news for those not interested in God of War, but looking at the positive side of things, The Last of Us launches in less than two weeks on June 14th.
