A train loaded with 72 cars of crude oil derailed in the early hours of the morning, slamming into Quebec township Lac-Megantic where fires and explosions from the tanker cars incinerated the downtown area. Five people are confirmed dead and at least 40 unaccounted for as firefighters continued to battle blazes from the tanker cars more than 24 hours after the derailment.
