Been unemployed for 4 months. living on unemployment & credit cards.? - I have perfect credit, yet i have reached the point of no return. between consolidating bills on my credit cards, and paying bills. I even took a car payment worked out a deal and paid it off on my credit card (card has 12% rate, car payment was same). So now that i am still unemployed, but hoping now that we are in the new year so i may find employment soon, either way, i cant see anyway that i can make the payments. I never planned this again as i have a score of 750 (maybe a bit less now that my cards are so high- combined at about $25,000). in years past i have never gone over $2000-$4000 max ever even though i had around $30000 worht of cards). Now all im doing is paying each off of each other. My unemployment has been $403.00 a week, and im used to making around $800.00 a week. My bills (with out cards) come to $650.00 a week to pay everything. Only option i see if i get a job is bankruptcy, but im also concerned that they will try to take everything i paid off on the card(bad mistake, but didnt think i would go this long). i can maybe get about $12000 out of my house, but only after working again. the payemnts on the cards are like $700 a month now, so you see if i get a job it will be for less money, id be lucky to make enough to pay the bills by them self. Any one have any new suggestions??? obama come up with anything for the unemplyed who has been trying to survive during this unemployment time??? Perfect credit has to help, but nearly maxed out cards , im sure the card-companies are not going to work with me enough to make a difference.

any advise would be great. I know im not the only one.
