The Hyogo Nishinomiya Board of Education announced on Wednesday that a Filipino assistant language teacher in his 20s accidentally projected a nude photo of himself on to a projection screen at a public junior high school. Thirty-five girls and boys in the 8th grade were in attendance at the teacher's English lesson that day.

The incident happened as the teacher was attempting to play a video of the British comedy series "Mr. Bean" from his laptop. The teacher allegedly opened another file by mistake, and projected a picture of himself, pant-less! Despite the classroom buzzing with excitement, it took ten seconds for the teacher to realise his mistake. He and another teacher immediately apologised to the pupils for showing the nude photo, saying it was completely unintended. The non-profit organization that sent the teacher to work at the school, however, did not accept his apology and sacked him. Responding to the inappropriate behaviour, the education board supervisor said the that they will develop preventive measures to try to ensure such incidents don't happen again.
