I don't miss who you became
or how you treated us
when I hear your name
it only brings disgust
I don't miss who I was
when I was with you
I don't miss any of the things
that you used to do
but when I cry it's out of sadness
of what I dreamed our family would be
though I'm away from the madness
my precious are still exposed periodically
know that I'm watching each step you take
when it's your turn with them
there isn't anything I wouldn't do
to insure their protection
