Whee! Here I go!
A leaf of scarlet,
Finally set free,
And caught on a breeze,

Lifted in flight,
Flying first left...
Then Right...
On a updraft,

Whirled until I am dizzy,
Spotlighted by
A shaft of pure brilliance,
Highlighting my red..and yellow!

Oops! Here I go again,
On a downdraft this time...
Whirled away
Just like a roller coaster ride...

Wheeeeeee, and down I go,
Taking my breath right away!
But not crashing, no!
Not now...oh, please? Not now! !

Oh, well, here I am at last,
Piled up like yesterday's trash,
Swept along by a leaf blower...
Carried off with my sisters and brothers! !
