Vairamuthu is the latest to join the much hyped cast of Vijay's next, Vijay58. The film has Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika playing the lead and marks the comeback of the yesteryear star Sridevi. Kannada actor Sudeep also plays a pivotal role in the film. Since the film is set in the period backdrop, Vairamuthu was brought on board as the lyrics required ancient Tamil. Music for the film is by Devi Sri Prasad and the film is directed by Chimbudevan. The shoot for the film is on in full swing.
