My dad jokes a lot, and sometimes my when my dad jokes around, its not funny. But other times the jokes dad does are really funny. Notice how I said jokes dad does and not says? Well it all relates to the actions done, rather than the real things he says. It is the opposite of the advice Claude's dad gives him...my dad leads by example on not what to do. I remember once, my dad got really drunk, and he rarely gets super drunk, but he got really wasted and decided to go to Whole Foods. Going to Whole Foods deliberately drunk is usually not the best thing to do, but the joke dad had in mind was too priceless. The joke dad had in mind was actually quite clever, and I am shocked that my dad was able to think about doing it at such a wasted time. My dad started to replace the coffee bean signs, so people who thought they were getting Columbian ground coffee were getting Kona ground coffee and so on. The biggest dad joke of that whole sequence is, my dad doesn't even remember it. Good thing I have it video taped. Claude actually tells a good dad joke in this bit, all about the interesting advice his dad has given him. These are really funny dad jokes, however, I don't think when his dad first gave Claude the advice, they were meant to be funny dad jokes, they just turned out that way when heard out of context. I applaud Claude for being comfortable enough to tell jokes about dad, because if my dad knew I told my jokes about dad here, I'd probably be grounded...so it's our little secret.
