A hot and spicy yet delicious chutney prepared from dry red chillies is a must have condiment to enhances the taste and flavor of many Indian snack items.
Ingredients
5-6 Dry Red Chillies
1tsp Red chilli powder
7-8 Garlic cloves
1tsp Cumin Powder
2tsp Roasted Cumin
half of lemon juice
1tbsp veg oil
salt to taste
water
Method
- Cut the dry red chillies from center and remove seed.
- Soak the dry red chillies in water for half an hour.
- In a grinder, add garlic, red chillies and water, make a coarse paste.
- add coriander powder, red chilli powder, roasted cumin, and make a fine paste.
- add little water if necessary.
You can store this chutney for 10 to 15 Days.
