Dozens of people marched on Saturday to protest the death of a young, unarmed black man who was shot by a police officer in his home in Madison, Wisconsin on the evening of March 6.

Tony Robinson, 19, was shot and killed by officer Matt Kenny after police responded to a battery call at 6.30 p.m. Kenny arrived to find Robinson jumping in and out of traffic. As Reuters reports, "Kenny followed the suspect into an apartment, was struck in the head and shot the teen, who later died at a local hospital."

Madison Mayor Paul Soglin said police will provide few details about the shooting. A new enacted last year law means the state Department of Justice will oversee the investigation.

Reuters continues: "Chanting "the whole damn system is guilty as hell," protesters walked from police headquarters in the state capital to the neighborhood where the apparently unarmed victim was shot by police on Friday evening, according to social media.

"At least 100 people took part in the peaceful protest, according to Officer David Dexheimer, Madison police spokesman."
