Severe flooding swept through Texas on May 22-24, killing at least 2 people and leaving four missing in Houston, and forcing many to evacuate their homes. In Wimberley, central Texas, at least 12 people were reported missing after the nearby San Marcos river rose 35 feet on May 23.
