Malaysia is sending a "high-level" team of seasoned officials to Beijing to brief the distraught families of the 153 Chinese passengers aboard the missing flight MH370, said acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein.

Acknowledging that the increasing frustration that had led to stinging criticism of Malaysia's handling of the crisis, he today appealed to everybody to understand that Malaysia is trying its best.
