Dy kryeministrat, ai i Kosovës Thaçi dhe serbi Daçiç takohen sot në Bruksel në raundin e katërt të bisedimeve të nivelit të lartë, të ndërmjetësuara nga shefja për politike të jashtme në BE, Ketrin Eshton. Sipas mediave serbe dhe kosovare, dy krerët e qeverive do të fokusohen në çështjen e pjesës veriore të Kosovës. Nga deklaratat e Thaçit dhe Daçiç para takimit, është lënë të kuptohet se do të flitet edhe për anëtarësimin e Kosovës në Organizatën e Kombeve të Bashkuara. Sipas Thaçit, pas mbylljes së këtij raundi të dialogut, Kosova do të fitojë vendin në OKB. Kryeministri kosovar ka qenë i prerë në deklaratat e një dite më parë. Ai ka nënvizuar se statusi, pavarësia dhe tërësia territoriale Kosovës, nuk do të jenë pjesë e diskutimeve. Sipas tij, i vetmi dokument mbi të cilin do të diskutohet, do të jetë pakoja e Ahtisarit, si dhe do të shihet mundësia për heqjen e strukturave paralele serbe në veri. Ndërsa, Daçiç ka deklaruar se Kosova duhet të ofrojë diçka në shkëmbim të anëtarësimit në OKB. Por, Presidenti i Serbisë, Tomisllav Nikolliç e ka hedhur poshtë mundësinë që Kosova të jetë anëtare e OKB-së, duke e cilësuar këtë një iluzion.

Two prime ministers, he Kosovo Thaci and Dacic Serb meet today in Brussels in the fourth round of high-level talks, mediated by EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton.
According to Serbian and Kosovar media, the two heads of governments will focus on the issue of northern Kosovo. Thaci and Dacic statements before the meeting, it is hinted that will speak for Kosovo's membership in the United Nations Organization. According to Thaci, after the close of this round of dialogue, the province will gain place at the UN. Kosovo Prime Minister has been cut in the statements of the previous day. He stressed that the status, independence and territorial integrity of Kosovo, will not be part of the discussion. According to him, the only document on which will be discussed will be the Ahtisaari package, and will consider the possibility to remove Serb parallel structures in the north. While, Dacic said that Kosovo must offer something in exchange for membership in the UN. But, the President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, has ruled out the possibility that Kosovo is a member of the UN, calling this an illusion.
