Kryeministri Berisha i rikthehet tezes se bashkimit kombëtar te shqiptareve kudo qe jetojne, pavarësisht apelit te ashper te diplomacisë amerikane per t'i dhene fund ketyre tezave ne prag te zgjedhjeve te përgjithshme.
Ne nje seance solemne, ne nderim te përvjetorit te peste te pavarësisë se Kosovës, kreu i qeverise tha se nacionalizmi i shqiptareve nuk ka asnje lidhje me doktrinat shfarosëse te vendeve përreth. Zoti Berisha veçoi kontributin e ish-presidentit Rugova, por edhe heroit legjendar Adem Jashari ne fitoren e pavarësisë te shtetit kosovar. Kryeministri tha se shpallja e pavarësisë se Kosovës, ishte ngjarja e dyte me e rëndësishme per kombin tone, pas 28 nëntorit te 1912.

In a solemn session, in honor of the fifth anniversary of the independence of Kosovo, the head of the government said that Albanian nationalism has no connection with extermination doctrines surrounding countries. Mr. Berisha singled out the contribution of former President Rugova, but also the legendary hero Adem Jashari in the victory of the state independence of Kosovo. Prime Minister said that the declaration of independence of Kosovo, was the second most important event for our nation, after 28 November 1912.
