Per kreun demokrat, i cili synon nje mandat te trete qeverisës, rivali politik Edi Rama ne 23 qershor do te provoje disfatën e radhës, pas asaj te humbjes se Tiranës ne 8 maj te 2011. Gjate inaugurimit te rrugës qe lidh komunën Lis te Matit me Burrelin, kryeministri Berisha kërkoi votat e banoreve te rrethit verior për te vijuar te tjera projekte për zonën e Matit.
