Washington DC, Mar 31 (ANI): After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, MIT PhD Scholar Nancy Agarwal, the Indian scientist at LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational - wave Observatory), said PM Modi wants the LIGO-Indian project to be an example of scientific progress for the Indian students at home. She added that the PM wants Indian scientists at LIGO to give lectures at Indian colleges in order to create awareness among the student fraternity about various programmes. Another PhD researcher from Georgia Institute of Technology Karan Jani, who also met the PM and was part of the delegation that signed the LIGO project, was ecstatic about how Prime Minister Modi was proud of their work.
