No, you aren’t dreaming. That really is a gigantic tower made of cupcakes.
The glorious event, named ‘Burj Kabkyk’ (or ‘Cupcake Tower’) was a free for all event that took place in Dubai. The worlds largest confectionery tower was unveiled at the Wafi Mall, and it stood at eight meters in height. That’s a staggering 7,000 cupcakes tall.
All of the cupcakes were given away after the event, and the tower was made to resemble the UAE national flag.
Jonathan Paulson, who organised the project as part of his events team, said:
