Shocking footage of a huge crane spinning on its axis during a blizzard in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada yesterday.

The filmer later wrote online: "A friend and I were walking under this crane during the blizzard when we heard a loud creaking sound.

"When we looked up and saw the crane wobbling and spinning from the wind, we started running and then managed to get it on film from a distance."

According to reports, strong winds and heavy snow have forced businesses and schools to close and local transport infrastructure has been disrupted across the region.
