Acquire French the natural way!

In this episode, we continue Story#1: Marie l'artiste and we repeat some structures you have started to acquire last week. So why is it easier remember a story you have heard or a movie you have seen. than a word list? Because your brain needs connections. Learning a word from a word list establishes one connection, and therefore, does not remain in your long-term memory. However, if this word is embedded in an exciting context, many more connections are generated. Because of all these connections, our brain stores the new word effortlessly. When you are acquiring another language, you should listen to stories and conversations which interest you!

So listen to this funny story, enjoy and remember that you can pause or rewind whenever you need to!

c'est = it is
elle a = she has
elle veut = she wants
il y a = there is / il n'y pas = there is not
elle va = she goes
