Former Karnataka minister and writer BT Lalitha Naik received a death threat from cow vigilante. According to the writer she received a letter from one Sunil Sharma a week ago. He has targeted her for her observations on cow slaughter and stated that people like her should be killed. Naik said that she had attended an event about 20 days ago in Chikkamagaluru where she opposed the attack on Dalits for skinning a dead cow.
