After a short break in Serbian anti-government protests over the Easter weekend, thousands of demonstrators returned to the streets of Belgrade on April 18 against President-elect Aleksandar Vucic.
Crowds marched to the government buildings on Tuesday evening in two weeks of protests against Vucic’s “dictatorship”. They claim that the polls were fraudulent and broadcasters biased towards. The protest concluded with chants of “tomorrow at 6pm”, the usual refrain ending the rallies to show that protesters will continue their nightly marches.
