A rescue operation was launched when a juvenile whale became stranded at a beach on the northern New South Wales coast on Friday, June 9. The whale was found stranded at about 7 am, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Experts were trying to reposition the whale, as seen in this footage published by the NSW Department of Environment and Heritage.
