In the Korea War Room, which shows the chronology of the Korean War,
you will feel as if you experience the real war.
The progression of the 3 years and 1 month of back and forth fighting
during the Korean War, which started when North Korea
invaded in 1950, is vividly reproduced.
The Korean War was the world's first war
that the UN forces entered after its formation.
In the exhibition room that honors the sacrifices of the 21 participating nations,
you will be able to confirm their determination to create a peaceful world.
Detailed records of the support and sacrifices made by the 63 countries
who sent troops, medical teams, and relief goods are on display.
The War History Room has on display over 5,000 years of history,
which includes records of battles fought and military relics
used to maintain peace on the Korean peninsula that date back to the prehistoric era.
You can also find on display a replica of the Geobukseon,
which was the deciding factor that allowed a small force to stop the Japanese invasion.
In the Outdoor Exhibition, equipment used during
the Korean War, like tanks and jets, are on display.
You are even able to go inside the transport planes and armored vehicles.
Moreover, when you step aboard the battle-scarred warship,
you will feel as if you were in the middle of a fierce struggle.
