Demonstrators staged a silent protest outside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 19 to show their support for the “Take a Knee” movement against police brutality and racial inequality.

Just before the Dallas Cowboys game against the Philadelphia Eagles, around 300 protesters dressed in black gathered at the entrance of the stadium, some of them raising their fists in the air. A few wore Colin Kaepernick jerseys, displaying their solidarity with the NFL player who started the protest.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been outspoken in his opposition to the protests.

The silence demonstration lasted around 30 minutes and was organized by Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas. Credit: Instagram/diopzeb via Storyful
