According to Page Six, Matt Lauer won’t go quietly into the good night.

They published a report claiming that the disgraced news anchor has still been firing off notes from his sofa to Today show producers and giving unsolicited feedback on the latest episodes.

Rumor has it he even sent a producer an email recently saying he felt they used the wrong music to kick off a segment.

And if that’s true, it’s a pretty incredible story.

Of course, a spokesperson for NBC declined to give a comment.

Since his unceremonious departure from the morning show, Matt has been spotted around his Hamptons estate running errands and playing golf.

His wife of 20 years has reportedly been meeting with lawyers.
