An area of Camden Market was evacuated on Sunday, January 7, after an attempted robbery attempt at an ATM.

While it was initially reported that “explosives” were used in the robbery attempt, the London Metropolitan Police said that no trace of explosives was found at the scene, but that there was evidence of an unsuccessful attempt to force entry to the cash machine using power tools.

No money was stolen and no injuries were reported. Credit: Twitter/Joseph Edward Thomas via Storyful
