The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17,148.94 points, a decline of 276.9 points (1.58 percent). The S&P 500 was down 31.28 points (1.53 percent) at 2,012.66 while the NASDAQ Composite closed down 95.41 points (2.08 percent) at 4,497.86.
