Police officers in Ohio helped to save a man’s life on January 28 by performing chest compressions on him following a car crash, the Streetsboro Police Department said.
Video of the incident shows police officers, identified as Sargent Suvada and Officer Bartholomew, responding to the incident with members of the fire department. Officer Bartholomew performed chest compressions on the man, identified as the driver of the car, until a crew from the fire department were able to attach an auto compression device, police said.
“The male was taken to the hospital where they were able to regain a heartbeat. The male is still in the hospital today,” the police statement said, “This is an example of the teamwork used in an attempt to save a life.
