Ingredients:
4 tbsp ghee
5 Finely Chopped Onions
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Chili powder
5 tbsp coconut paste
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Mutton stock
Ingredients for Marination:
1/2 kg Mutton
1/2 cup yogurt
1 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
Method of preparation:
In a wok add ghee, onions and saute them until the onions turn golden brown.
On the other hand, start marinating the mutton.
Boil the mutton with some ginger, garlic and salt.
Add yogurt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, Chili powder, garlic paste, ginger paste. Mix the well and keep it aside.
Once the onions turn brown add ginger-garlic paste, saute them until the raw smell goes off.
Add turmeric powder, chili powder, ground coconut paste and saute them until the oil oozes out.
Now add the marinated mutton, and saute it for 2-3 minutes and add salt.
Add mutton stock to this, cover it with a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Switch off the gas, take it out in a bowl and garnish it with curry leaves.
