Shamsi Biryani Ingredients :
Preparation of the Meat
4 tbsp Ghee
2 Bay Leaves
1-inch Cinnamon Stick
2 Black Cardamoms
3 Onions (sliced)
2 tbsp Ginger Paste
2 tbsp Garlic Paste
1 cup Yogurt
2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Kg Mutton
250ml Water
Salt (as required)
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
5 Green Chillies (slit)
Fresh Mint Leaves
Preparation of Rice
2-3 tbsp Ghee
1 Bay Leaf
1-inch Cinnamon Stick
2 Star Anise
2 Black Cardamoms
8-10 Black Peppercorns
3 Onions (sliced)
6 cups Water
3 cups Basmati Rice (soaked in water)
Salt (as required)
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Ghee
