Flooding triggered by snow melt of the Okanogan River and other rivers in northeastern Washington has forced families from their homes and caused widespread damage.
The American Red Cross reported on May 11 that they had opened an emergency shelter for affected residents. This video shows flooding in Oroville, on Lake Osoyoos.
