Kings XI Punjab will face the uphill task of not only pulling the rug from under the feet of formidable Chennai Super Kings but also boosting their net run rate in the last IPL round-robin match to salvage any hopes of sneaking into the play-offs. Punjab had started the season with a string of wins before going off the boil. Currently placed at the seventh position with 12 points, Kings XI still have a slender chance of making it to the play-off.



आईपीएल 11 का 56वां अर्थात आखिरी लीग मैच चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्स और किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के बीच रविवार को रात 8 बजे से पुणे में खेला जाएगा। 13 में से 6 मैच जीतकर किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब सातवें नंबर पर है तो वहीं चन्नई सुपरकिंग्स 13 में से 8 मैच जीतकर दूसरे नंबर पर है। जहां चेन्नई पहले से ही प्ले-ऑफ के लिए क्वालीफाई कर चुकी है तो किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के लिए ये मैच करो या मरो का है। किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के सामने आईपीएल के अंतिम राउंड रोबिन मैच में सिर्फ चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्स को हराने की ही चुनौती नहीं होगी बल्कि प्लेआफ में जगह बनाने की उम्मीद रखने के लिये उसे नेट रन रेट को बढ़ाने पर भी ध्यान लगाना होगा।
