A wildfire burned through at least 2,000 acres and triggered evacuations in Jefferson County, Oregon, on Thursday, June 21.
Those living in the Three Rivers subdivision near Culver, Oregon, were evacuated “as extreme fire conditions and erratic winds quickly pushed the fire northeast threatening homes,” officials said. The area was still under evacuation orders on Friday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.
