ಕೆಸಿ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೆರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರುವ ಹರಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 1ರವರೆಗೆ ಕೆಸಿ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೆರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹರಿಸದಂತೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

The Karnataka high court on Tuesday passed an interim direction barring the state government from pumping treated water to Kolar and Chikkaballapur districts from the Koramangala Challaghatta Valley project. Water pumped to Kolar tanks through the project generated froth last week, raising the hackles of locals.
