Smoke rose as protesters shutdown the streets of central Harare on August 1, as preliminary election results indicated ZANU-PF’s Emmerson Mnangagwa was in the lead to win the presidential election.
His party, ZANU-PF, is still leading in the polls though local news outlets said a quarter of the votes had yet to be tallied.
