Typhoon Soulik brought high winds and rain to Jeju Island in South Korea on Thursday, August 23.
One woman was reported missing and a man was injured after the storm lashed the island, according to Yonhap News Agency. The storm also knocked out power to 6,000 households, the report said. The typhoon was forecast to hit Seoul on Friday, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
