Bishop Franco Mulakkal, accused of raping a nun from Kerala, said that there is a conspiracy behind the protests by nun. He also accused some “anti-church elements” of using the nuns who are protesting against him. On the issue, Mulakkal said, “What I feel is that some anti-church elements are using these nuns. The antis in the church are pushing these nuns forward to raise their own issues. There is a conspiracy behind this. Few people are taking advantage of this.”
