Coastal areas of Odisha and parts of Andhra Pradesh are facing cyclonic storm Titli which made landfall at approximately 5.45 am this morning and will continue till 11.30 am. The wind intensity is going to be 140-150 kmph, gusting to 165 kmph. Odisha has already evacuated people from 5 districts which will be worst affected. Schools and colleges are closed today. Train and air services will also be hit. As many as 14 NDRF teams have already been deployed in Odisha and hundreds of shelters prepared. The storm will likely cause landslides and flooding though measures are in place to mitigate disasters.
