Shardul Thakur limped off the ground after bowling 10 deliveries, thanks to a right adductor tendon injury, after opening the bowling attack with Umesh Yadav against the Windies. If the latest results are to be believed, Thakur is likely to spend at least seven weeks for recovery which means he will not be considered for India’s T20I and Test squads for the tour of Australia starting next month.
