TV Networks, Facebook Yank Trump's Controversial Immigration Ad NBC and Fox News have announced they will no longer air the ad which has been heavily criticized as racially divisive. It centers around an undocumented immigrant convicted of murdering two California police officers. Critics have said it is meant to stir up anger towards immigrants before the 2018 midterms. Facebook has also blocked the ad from getting promoted through its paid distribution network. Before their decision, NBC aired the commercial during a Sunday night NFL game between the Patriots and Packers. It also aired at least 18 times across multiple networks, including eight times on Fox Business.
