Ingredients:
3-4 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
7-8 Curry leaves
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
2 Onions, chopped
Green Masala
1 Tomato, chopped
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
2-3 tbsp Goda Masala
Salt to taste
1 cup Moth Bean sprouts
4-5 cups Water
Potato Bhaji
Chivda
Onion, chopped
For Green Masala
2 Green Chillies
6-7 Garlic pods
1-inch Garlic
1/4 cup Coriander leaves
Method of preparation:
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, onions, mix well and saute it.
Add green masala, tomato, saute it till the tomato cooks completely.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, goda masala, mix well.
Add salt, moth bean sprouts and mix well.
Add water, once it comes to a boil, cover it with a lid and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.
Switch off the gas and plate it.
In a serving bowl, add potato bhaji, onion, matki, coriander and sev chivda and the tari.
Sprinkle some onion and coriander on top.
Our Puneri Misal is ready.
