Court has refused to frame charges against Kobad Gandhy under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act due to improper sanction from authorities. Ghandy was arrested in south Delhi Sep 20, 2009. Ghandy was accused of trying to build a Maoist base in Delhi. He had been booked for various charges under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act besides those of cheating and impersonation under the IPC.
