Its judgement day for Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya, as a Norwegian court will decide today whether their children Abhigyan and Aishwarya will be repatriated back to India. The Stavanger District court completed its hearing on the custody case of NRI children on Tuesday and is expected to deliver its judgement on April 23rd. The hearing is also being attended by 2 envoys of MEA who are in Norway.
The Norwegian authorities had earlier put off the court hearing, following reports of marital conflict between the kids' parents. If the verdict is given in favour of returning the children to the family, Abhigyan and Aishwarya are expected to be handed over to their uncle, Arunabhash Bhattacharya.
