In Delhi, New Year Celebrations were low key with several people staying on at Jantar Mantar epicentre of protests for the gangrape victim through the night, despite the severe cold. Since early this morning, people have started to gather again. Several are on hunger strike demanding that a stringent law to punish sex offenders is enacted quickly.
