According to media reports, the GST Bill will not to be tabled in Rajya Sabha today. A day after the government managed to get the key Bill on Goods and Services Tax (GST) passed in the Lok Sabha amid a walkout by the main opposition Congress, the legislation had to come up for discussion in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. “GST is an important bill and is in the interest of nation. The nation is welcoming it,” said Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Urban Development on Thursday.
