It has emerged that the Enforcement Directorate, in its investigation against former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, found that Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasudhara Raje’s son Dushyant Singh’s company received a sum of Rs 11.63 crore from Modi. Dushyant is a BJP MP from Jhalawar-Baran, Rajasthan. The reports emerged as few unsigned documents, which endorsed Lalit's application in 2011 to stay on in the UK, said Raje's "assistance" should not "become known" to Indian authorities - a damaging clause that plunged the BJP into stunned silence soon after finance minister Arun Jaitley was fielded to defend Sushma. According to a report, the money was accrued to the company through loan and share purchase.
