Every Contesting Candidate has to deposit a certain fee for fighting election. Candidates have to submit a particular amount of money to deposit in India. The process is to desist non serious candidates from contesting. When they do not receive certain thresholds of votes in the polling their fee is forfeited.

लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 को लेकर सभी पार्टी और प्रत्याशी तैयारियों में जुटे हुए है । इस दौरान सभी उम्मीदवार जमानत राशि चुनाव से पहले जमा करते है । लेकिन कई बार उनकी जमानत राशि जब्त हो जाती है और ऐसे में इन वजहों से उनकी जमानत जब्त होती है । बता दें कि देश के पहले लोकसभा चुनाव से ही सभी प्रत्याशियों की जमानत राशि जमा करने का प्रावधान है ।
